Teaching Career:  Cindie was trained and began teaching at Arthur Murrays, Orlando, under Richard and Marina Wilbur in January, 1982.  She has taught some of the same students for over 20 years, and has a great love for passing on the excitement of dancing to as many people as possible, while keeping it fun, easy and stress-free.

Cindie and her husband, Jose, competed professionally in the late ’80’s and early ’90’s when they then started their family, and went onto a more exciting phase in their life.

They took over ownership of the Studio in March of 2003, where they changed the name to the now known Marino Dance Club.

Name: Lizabeth Rice
Director of New Student Department & Business Development
Dancing Career: Over 10 years in the Dance World .
Teaching Career: Started Career in the 1980’s with Fred Astaire Dance Studios, St. Louis, MO. Then to Fred Astaire Studios of W. Central Fla. . Later went on to own and operate two Independent Ballroom Studios in Ocala and Ormond Beach, Fl. (Dancing in Motion I. & II. Inc.)
Dance Background: Ballroom and Latin specialties.
Education: BS in Psychology, BA in Marketing & an MBA in Global Communications. Over 11 years in Marketing & Advertising spanning Europe, Spain, Luxemburg, Ireland and The USA. Lizabeth Rice was selected to be included in the “Cambridge Who’s Who of Executives, Professionals, & Entrepreneurs of the year”, for the last 2 years, consecutively.

Name: Theresa Perrin
Instructor, Daytime Office Manager, Wedding Coordinator, Children’s Director
Dancing Career: My entire life!- Over 20 years of experience, in all aspects of dance.
Teaching Career:11 years experience teaching children in all forms of dance, and 3 years teaching adults.
Dance Background: Classically and competitively trained in: Jazz, Hip-hop, Tap, Ballet, Modern and Ballroom. Specialty in teaching Wedding Couples their first Dance.
Education: Ft. Lauderdale native, The Hip-hop Dance Conservatory- NYC, NY, American Ballroom Theatre, Dancing Classrooms
Hobbies: Dancing everyday! I love to scrapbook, watch Disney movies and play with my puppy. And of course, ride motorcycles as fast as possible!
Interests: I’m an outdoorsy person who loves to party and dance as much as possible! Sincerely devoted to family, friends and God.

Name: Casey Crouch
Instructor

Casey began his ballroom career as a specialist at Dance Smith Fred Astaire Dance Studio, Memphis, Tennessee in July of 2003.

In 2006 Casey went on to work with new and advanced students at Arthur Murray Dance Studios in the Dr. Phillips area of Central Florida. Continuing with his career he moved to the Arthur Murray’s, Winter Park, Florida location and soon after, helped open the Altamonte Springs studio as lead male instructor.While at Arthur Murray’s, he received the 2007 top instructor award for the Tournament of Champions for that region.

Casey came to Marino Dance Club in 2009, where he now works with students of all levels. Casey is currently working with his professional dance partner, Theresa Perrin, and they are preparing to burst into the competition scene starting in 2010.

His Dance Background includes Ballroom, with hip-hop, theatre jazz and some clogging (don’t laugh!).

Name: Dariel Cordero
Instructor

Originally from Cuba , Dariel began his dancing experience at age 14 by competing in school dances.  After finishing high school he auditioned and was accepted into one of the most famous shows in Cuba, The Tropicana.

In 2000, while touring in the Dominican Republic, Dariel defected there, and this is where he started his teaching career. In 2001, he immigrated to the United States.

Prior to joining Marino Dance Club, Dariel was in the Spanish Radio/broadcasting business here in Central Florida.

“Today I am living the American dream,” says Dariel.  Being part of Marino’s is going to give me the opportunity to grow and develop my craft, in a successful and friendly environment.”

Our Business

We teach Adult and Children’s Ballroom Dance in Casselberry, FL,  located in the Wilshire Plaza. We are dedicated to educating and enjoying all the benefits of ballroom dance for any and everyone!

We make Ballroom Dancing Fun, Fast and Easy. Our hours of operation are M-Th 1-10 P.M. and Fri. till 10:30 PM.   Sat. is our Children’s Program.

Marino Dance Club teaches a three-tiered system including private instruction (lessons), group classes, and practice parties. We encourage full participation by all our students regardless of  their dance experience.
