What is Showcase?

• Showcases are the highlight of the season! Twice a year the student body recieves the opportunity to Dance the night away at the Marriott Hotel in Downtown Orlando in the Grand Ballroom! Your Showcase experience will include Solo Routines, Freestyle Exhibitions, Adjudicators Review, Awards Banquet, Professional Show and an exhilirating audience to cheer you on! Your own personal grace and style will be the hit of the Showcase performance with dozens of dazzling costumes, phenomenal music, and tons of dancing for all.
• Food is provided with admission, a DVD is recorded for the viewing pleasure of all, and the glitter and glam of a spectaular Day of Dance is sure to be a hit with friends, relatives, co-workers and family.
• The skills learned by our student body are priceless when creating Solos and demonstrating proficiency on all Freestyles.
• Our Nationally accredited judges year in and year out are always a welcomed treat for the entire population.
• Our Pro-Show is amoung the most anticipated and truly magical experiences ever to be seen at the conclusion of the evening.
• Dancing is split between two categories: Freestyles & Solos

Freestyles Exhibitions:
These dances consist of 3-8 couples on the floor. These are unrehearsed presentations of the school figures from the students Dance Program. Freestyles are a great confidence builder and helps develop a students social dance skills in a professional environment. All students are strongly encouraged to participate as early in their program as possible.

Solo Routines:
These performances are specially choreographed routines lasting about 2 minutes. Special attention is given to music selection and costume, as well as special dance movements, tricks, and steps. Solos are the quintessential shining glory to anyone who wishes to call themself a Dancer! These routines are choreographed with ample amounts of time to feel comfortable and confident!
